Responsibilities
- Collect, Clean, and Transform Data: Gather raw data from various sources and ensure it is accurate, consistent, and ready for analysis using SQL and Python.
- Develop Dashboards and Reports: Create intuitive, interactive visualizations in Tableau and Power BI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies that influence business strategy.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Automate Processes: Streamline reporting workflows through automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Statistical Knowledge: Strong understanding of statistical principles, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into simple, digestible insights for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot data issues and propose effective solutions.
