The Role
As a Data Analyst at Nexus Analytics Group, you will bridge the gap between data science and business strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), clean and validate data, and visualize findings to help stakeholders understand trends and patterns. Your work will directly influence product development and market expansion strategies.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to track business metrics.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast market trends and user behavior.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to identify growth opportunities and optimize campaign performance.
- Document data processes, data lineage, and analytical methodologies for team transparency.
- Present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Querying, Joins, Stored Procedures).
- Experience with visualization tools: Tableau or PowerBI is required.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
