Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large complex data sets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity before analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends and patterns within the data.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Business Insights: Present complex findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Forecasting: Build predictive models to assist in business forecasting and strategic planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R is required.
- Visualization: Strong experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation software.
