Apex Analytics Group is seeking a dynamic and analytical Data Analyst to join our high-performing team in Columbus, OH. We are looking for a self-starter who can hit the ground running immediately.
In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex datasets into clear, actionable business intelligence. You will work closely with leadership to drive strategic initiatives and optimize operational performance.

Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Write complex SQL queries and scripts to support ad-hoc reporting and data mining.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports for executive stakeholders.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Experience with Python or R for data manipulation is a strong plus.
