As a key member of our analytics team, you will leverage your expertise to drive strategic decisions, optimize operational efficiency, and uncover new growth opportunities. We offer a hybrid work environment with a preference for candidates based in or open to relocation to the Chicago, IL or New York, NY area.
Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and validate complex datasets to ensure high data quality and integrity for analysis.
- Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and forecasting to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Reporting: Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable business reports and presentations for executive leadership.
- Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, and engineering teams to define data requirements and support product development initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and implement data-driven solutions to improve business workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Google Data Studio.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data issues and derive meaningful insights.
