Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process large volumes of equity options market data to support trading desk operations.
- Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction and reporting.
- Construct interactive dashboards (using Tableau or PowerBI) to visualize implied volatility, Greeks, and pricing discrepancies.
- Perform statistical analysis on historical options data to identify arbitrage opportunities and model risk exposure.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to refine pricing models and validate algorithmic trading signals.
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports for senior management detailing portfolio analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services, equity markets, or derivatives sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R.
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial) and financial terminology.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
