Responsibilities
- Analyze Equity Options Data: Interpret complex datasets to identify market trends, pricing anomalies, and trading opportunities.
- Develop Dashboards: Build and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators for stakeholders.
- SQL & Data Mining: Query large databases to extract and clean data, ensuring accuracy for financial reporting.
- Collaborate with Trading Teams: Work closely with traders and portfolio managers to translate data findings into actionable business strategies.
- Automate Reporting: Create automated scripts to reduce manual workload and increase reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, specifically within financial markets or equity options.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python or R, and Excel (VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
