Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets related to equity options and market trends using SQL and Python.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize performance metrics and trade flows.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within equity derivatives.
- Conduct statistical analysis to forecast market movements and assess risk exposure.
- Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for executive leadership.
- Optimize data pipelines to ensure accuracy and speed in reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services or equity options sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Deep understanding of financial instruments, specifically equity options and derivatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
