Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth quantitative analysis of equity options data to uncover market inefficiencies and pricing anomalies.
- Design, develop, and maintain statistical models and algorithms to support trading strategies and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data feeds into our proprietary trading platforms.
- Create automated reporting dashboards and visualizations to track portfolio performance and market volatility.
- Conduct rigorous backtesting of proposed trading strategies to validate historical performance.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in data handling and analysis workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or financial modeling.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Deep understanding of options pricing theory, volatility surface analysis, and derivatives markets.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
