What You’ll Do:
- Data Mining & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze massive datasets to uncover hidden trends and opportunities.
- Visualization: Design and develop compelling Tableau and Power BI dashboards that make complex data easy to understand.
- SQL Mastery: Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and join data from multiple sources efficiently.
- Reporting: Generate regular performance reports and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current reporting processes and automate them to save time.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing and sales teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs).
Who We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 2+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Tableau, or Power BI.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills to translate data findings into business strategy.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our San Diego, CA office.

Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract data from various databases and data warehouses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to translate data needs into technical requirements.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, concise reports and presentations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake) and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
