Role Overview:
In this role, you will be the bridge between raw data and actionable business insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, build dashboards, and optimize business processes. Your ability to translate complex data sets into clear narratives will be vital to our success in the Indianapolis market.
Responsibilities
- Extract & Transform Data: Use SQL and Python to extract large datasets from various sources and clean/transform them for analysis.
- Visualize Insights: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to track KPIs and performance metrics.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies within business data.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive monthly and weekly reports for stakeholders, presenting findings with clear recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current reporting processes and propose automated solutions to streamline workflows.
- Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced querying), Python (Pandas/NumPy), and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Visualization Tools: Strong experience with Tableau or PowerBI.
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data patterns.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills; able to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a data analyst role or similar data-focused position.
