Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business strategies.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create clear, concise, and visually appealing dashboards (using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools) to present findings to stakeholders.
- Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor business performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights.
- Problem Solving: Identify data gaps and propose solutions to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and extraction. Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts into understandable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail in data entry and analysis.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our San Antonio, TX office or hybrid remote setup.
