Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets) and clean, transform, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and data mining to uncover business insights and support decision-making processes.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create intuitive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to present findings to stakeholders clearly.
- SQL Proficiency: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
- Business Intelligence: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement and recommend data-backed strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Qlik).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and data modeling concepts.
