Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and transform large, complex data sets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform in-depth statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business optimization.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop dynamic dashboards and interactive reports using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to understand their analytical needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current data workflows and implement automated solutions to streamline reporting processes.
- Auditing: Monitor data quality metrics and establish protocols to maintain high standards of data governance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (Advanced queries, joins) and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Tools: Expert level in Tableau or PowerBI.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues and think critically to solve business problems.
