Responsibilities
- Analyze operational datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify efficiency bottlenecks in port logistics
- Create interactive Tableau dashboards for real-time performance monitoring
- Develop statistical models to forecast cargo volume and vessel traffic patterns
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement data quality improvements
- Present findings to C-suite stakeholders with clear visualizations and actionable recommendations
- Lead A/B testing initiatives for operational process optimizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years experience in data analysis with SQL proficiency
- Advanced skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and data visualization tools
- Proven experience with statistical modeling and hypothesis testing
- Strong business acumen with supply chain or logistics industry knowledge
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI preferred
