Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data sets to ensure high accuracy for analysis.
- Develop complex SQL queries and scripts to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress.
- Document data processes and maintain data dictionaries for the team.
- Present clear, concise, and actionable reports to management and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server) for data querying.
- Advanced skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business value.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
