Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 security intelligence feeds to detect and prioritize advanced persistent threats
- Conduct forensic investigations on security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Develop and execute incident response playbooks for ransomware, DDoS, and zero-day exploits
- Collaborate with blue teams to patch vulnerabilities within SLA-driven timelines
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports with actionable mitigation strategies
- Lead cross-functional tabletop exercises simulating complex attack scenarios
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity threat analysis with hands-on SOC experience
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (GCIH/GCSA preferred)
- Expertise in SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation scripting
- Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and TTP analysis
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Proven track record of responding to live security incidents under pressure
