Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 threat monitoring using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop incident response playbooks and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with SOC teams to analyze malware and anomalous network behavior
- Implement zero-trust architecture and identity access management controls
- Generate executive-level security risk assessments and compliance reports
- Train junior staff on emerging threats and defensive techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with proven incident response experience
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Hands-on experience with threat intelligence tools (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong Python or scripting skills for automation tasks
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance (required)
