Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading platforms during weekend shifts using SIEM tools
- Conduct real-time threat analysis and incident response for financial systems
- Implement and maintain security controls for options trading infrastructure
- Collaborate with trading teams to secure proprietary algorithms and data feeds
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial applications
- Ensure compliance with FINRA/SEC cybersecurity regulations for equity markets
- Document security incidents and prepare forensic reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on financial services or options trading
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH with financial security specialization
- Expertise in equity options systems (e.g., CBOE, OCC, or proprietary platforms)
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (Splunk, Darktrace, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Strong understanding of financial protocols FIX/FAST and market data encryption
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with on-call rotation
