Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise networks and systems
- Incident response and threat hunting during weekend shifts
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document security incidents and generate comprehensive reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
- Stay updated on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and security tools
- Experience with network security protocols and encryption standards
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
