Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise systems
- Implement and monitor SIEM solutions (Splunk, QRadar) for threat detection
- Develop incident response playbooks and lead security breach remediation
- Manage zero-trust architecture deployments and access controls
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports
- Mentor junior team members through weekly technical workshops
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in remote/hybrid roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network protocols
- Hands-on experience with EDR tools (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
- Strong Python/bash scripting for automation tasks
- Proven ability to manage SOC operations and threat intelligence
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation
