Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and networks for vulnerabilities, threats, and intrusions
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
- Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing
- Incident response: Investigate breaches, contain threats, and document remediation
- Develop security policies, procedures, and employee training programs
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture and compliance
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT security role
- Relevant certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Active security clearance preferred
