Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures to prevent cyber threats
- Lead incident response protocols for data breaches and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell for SOC operations
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS frameworks
- Mentor junior security engineers through knowledge-sharing sessions
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security architecture or threat detection
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP with active maintenance
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network segmentation
- Strong programming skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Knowledge of zero-trust architectures and SASE frameworks
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
