Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor security protocols for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct penetration testing on financial systems and trading APIs
- Investigate and mitigate cybersecurity threats specific to trading environments
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS regulations
- Develop incident response plans for trading system breaches
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to secure algorithmic trading models
- Monitor dark web for trading platform vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with financial services experience
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CISM required
- Expertise in equity options trading systems and market data protocols
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security
- Knowledge of FIX protocol and trading security frameworks
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in financial markets
