Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise networks
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for real-time threat detection
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Document security procedures and create executive-level threat reports
- Lead security awareness training sessions for technical and non-technical staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in threat detection and incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance within 30 days of hire
- Strong written communication skills for executive reporting
