Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Monitor SIEM alerts and respond to security incidents
- Develop incident response playbooks and recovery procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
- Lead security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or similar role
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+ certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and firewalls
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence and malware analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
