Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents during overnight shifts
- Perform forensic analysis on malware and attack vectors
- Coordinate with global teams during cross-continental incident escalations
- Document security events and maintain compliance logs
- Conduct vulnerability scans and patch assessments
- Develop playbooks for emerging nighttime threat patterns
Qualifications
- 3+ years in SOC or cybersecurity operations experience
- CISSP, CISM, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in IDS/IPS (Snort, Suricata) and EDR tools
- Proven incident response handling (IR) experience
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure night shifts
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
