Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and respond to 24/7 alerts during night shift operations
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and document findings
- Implement and maintain network security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Perform regular security audits and penetration testing exercises
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with night shift or 24/7 operations
- Certification (CISSP, CEH, or Security+) required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection platforms
- Strong understanding of network architecture and cloud security
- Experience with incident response protocols and forensic tools
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
- Willingness to relocate to San Antonio with relocation assistance
