Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with real-time mitigation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Implement security controls and maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during incident response
- Document security incidents and maintain forensic evidence
- Stay current on emerging threats and attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency with network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and network protocols
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) principles
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Valid driver's license and clean background check
