Responsibilities
- Assist senior analysts in monitoring security alerts and events in real-time.
- Participate in simulated phishing campaigns and vulnerability assessments.
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate logs in the ticketing system.
- Learn and apply basic Linux and Windows command-line operations.
- Support the implementation of security patches and software updates.
- Conduct basic research on emerging cyber threats and malware trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or currently enrolled).
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, hacking, and network security concepts.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addresses, TCP/IP, HTTP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
