Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents targeting equity options trading platforms during weekend market hours
- Implement advanced threat detection systems for financial market data feeds and trading algorithms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on options pricing engines and settlement systems
- Develop security frameworks compliant with SEC/FINRA regulations for financial derivatives
- Collaborate with traders to design secure API integrations for options platforms
- Lead incident response during high-volume weekend trading sessions
- Document security procedures for equity options lifecycle management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Finance with 3+ years relevant experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM certification required
- Proven experience protecting financial trading systems or derivatives platforms
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Deep understanding of equity options pricing models and trading workflows
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 8AM-8PM CT)
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations (SOX, PCI-DSS, SEC Rule 15c3-3)
