Responsibilities
- Design and implement cryptographic protocols for equity option transactions and stock administration systems
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on financial platforms handling equity compensation
- Develop zero-trust architecture for sensitive employee equity data across global systems
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure SEC/FINRA compliance for equity security protocols
- Lead incident response for equity-related security breaches with financial impact analysis
- Create security documentation and training for equity compensation system administrators
- Integrate AI-driven threat detection for anomalous option exercise patterns
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with direct experience in financial systems or equity compensation platforms
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CISM required
- Expertise in PKI, encryption standards (AES-256, RSA-4096), and secure key management
- Strong understanding of equity compensation structures (ISOs, NSOs, RSUs)
- Experience with SOC 2 compliance frameworks and financial data protection regulations
- Proficiency in Python/Go for security automation and threat modeling
- Ability to translate complex security concepts for non-technical stakeholders
