Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures to protect organizational assets
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop and deploy SIEM solutions for real-time threat detection
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk, ArcSight, or similar platforms
- Document security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations
- Expert knowledge of network security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFA) required
- Proficiency in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container security
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred or ability to obtain
