Responsibilities
- Implement and manage advanced firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint security solutions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid environments
- Lead incident response for security breaches including forensic analysis and containment
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and analyze SIEM alerts for proactive threat hunting
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on SOC/NOC operations
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container technologies
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
