Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security solutions across cloud/on-premise infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of systems
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Sentinel) and respond to incidents
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into DevOps pipelines
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on technical experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network architecture
- Proficiency in security tools: Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Nessus, Wireshark
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with security automation and orchestration platforms
