Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures for cloud and on-premise environments
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across complex networks
- Lead incident response protocols including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Develop security automation using Python, Ansible, and SIEM tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to security awareness programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering with hands-on incident response experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security protocols
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike
