Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Design, implement, and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN architectures to protect organizational assets.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
- Develop and document security policies, procedures, and playbooks for incident response.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure deployment of applications and infrastructure.
- Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container security.
- Proven experience with security tools such as Splunk, Snort, or similar.
