Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise networks
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and respond to incidents
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security solutions into existing infrastructure
- Lead incident response activities including forensic analysis and remediation
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend defensive countermeasures
- Prepare detailed security reports and executive summaries
- Mentor junior security analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to work independently in remote environments
