Responsibilities
- Design and deploy advanced security solutions (SIEM, EDR, firewalls) to prevent cyber attacks
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and incident response for enterprise networks
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and AWS Security Hub
- Lead incident response activities during security breaches
- Provide security awareness training to staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with proven incident response track record
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Ability to work under pressure during critical security incidents
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred (not required)
