Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on cloud/on-prem environments
- Incident response coordination for security breaches and zero-day exploits
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Lead security awareness training for technical staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or security operations
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco security products
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
