Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures across cloud, network, and endpoint environments
- Conduct 24/7 threat monitoring using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and respond to security incidents
- Develop and execute penetration testing programs to identify vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Manage security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR)
- Lead incident response activities including forensic analysis and recovery procedures
- Document security policies and procedures with clear technical specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+) strongly preferred
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Proficiency with security automation tools (Ansible, Python, PowerShell)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and threat hunting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
