Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate security threats in real-time.
- Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Lead incident response efforts during security breaches.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure cloud environments and on-premise infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Network Administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and Endpoint Detection/Response (EDR).
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (if applicable).
