Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents within SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents and breaches in real-time.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure secure cloud infrastructure deployment.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with NIST and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Valid certification such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with NIST frameworks, HIPAA, and compliance standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 monitoring environment.
