Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and zero-trust networks
- Lead incident response operations for security breaches, conducting forensic analysis and mitigation strategies
- Develop automation scripts for vulnerability scanning, patch management, and security monitoring
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct penetration testing and risk assessments for cloud and hybrid environments
- Maintain compliance frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
- Mentor junior engineers through security training programs and knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (required), CCSP or OSCP (preferred)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), EDR solutions, and cloud security platforms
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption standards, and threat intelligence
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services and container security (Kubernetes)
- Ability to maintain TS/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain)
