Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures including SIEM, EDR, and network segmentation
- Lead incident response for complex cyber threats using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Mentor junior security engineers and contribute to threat intelligence sharing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity engineering
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and cloud-native architectures
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and firewall technologies
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
