Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and system logs to identify potential security breaches and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to ensure system integrity.
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents and threats in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Develop and update security policies and procedures to comply with industry standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure infrastructure deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, SIEM) and endpoint protection solutions.
