Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Docker
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization with Jenkins and Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB clusters
- Develop RESTful APIs with Node.js and Python (FastAPI/Django)
- Implement security protocols including OAuth2 and JWT authentication
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Monitor system health using Prometheus/Grafana dashboards
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in full-stack development with JavaScript/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Proficient in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Strong problem-solving skills with data structures and algorithms
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
