Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for threat detection and investigation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop incident response playbooks and execute forensic analysis during breaches
- Implement NIST 800-53 controls and maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Deliver weekly threat intelligence reports to executive stakeholders
- Maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SIEM/EDR experience
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Knowledge of threat hunting methodologies and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written communication for security documentation
