Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage firewall rules, intrusion detection systems, and VPN configurations.
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents and breaches with minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards (NIST, ISO), and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to secure cloud infrastructure and on-premise systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with endpoint protection, identity management, and access control.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a required government or corporate security clearance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
