Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations centers (SOC) and respond to incidents with high urgency.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage patch management cycles.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Ensure strict adherence to compliance frameworks including SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Perform penetration testing and red team operations to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and update security policies and incident response plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security or network administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and encryption standards.
- Ability to communicate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Python or scripting for automation is a plus.
